Tommy Wish

Tommy Wish was born and raised in Southern California and at a young age began a long and respectable career in boxing and the martial arts. He began his training in Hawaiian Kenpo Karate in 1976, achieving the rank of Rokku-Dan (6th degree Black Belt) in 1999. Tommy's abilities have been perfected in hours of practice in the gym and years of experience on the streets.

Although it is Kenpo and Judo where Tommy got started, it is boxing that he sought out because he hungered for a fighting form that involved more contact. His love of western boxing started in 1978, when he began training out of the local gym in his home town. After years of honing his skills as a boxer, Tommy decided to share his knowledge of the sport.

Tommy began teaching full time in 1984. In 1994, he opened a boxing, fitness and martial arts gym in Costa Mesa, known as Tommy's Gym. After recently selling the gym he built over a 15 year span, Tommy transferred his private clients to the one gym he likened to his own, Wardance.

To this day Tommy is known in the martial arts and boxing community as the man who can teach you how to put your martial arts and fighting skills to practical use. People will say about him, "Don't give him an arm, because he'll keep it."
